Scots football club signs up as official gaming partner
The UK land and online gambling group Gala Coral has signed a 2 year partnership agreement with Scotland’s Hearts of Midlothian Football Club that will see the firm providing a range of online gaming services including betting, poker, casino and bingo games to the Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League outfit, nicknamed ‘Hearts’.
“We’re absolutely delighted to be working in this new online partnership with Coral,” said Ali Russell, Commercial Director for the Edinburgh-based soccer club. “Coral are a well recognised and highly respected gaming brand in the UK and this agreement sees us continue to fulfill our ‘less is more’ strategy of sector sponsorship. We have already begun working proactively with Coral on a range of different projects, which are innovative and exciting.
“As we continue to build the business side of Hearts we will continue to aggressively seek to build new partnerships with category sponsors.”
Gala Coral’s commitment to social responsibility will be demonstrated with a two million dollar donation to the Heart of Midlothian Education and Community Trust, and a former Hearts star is to be invited to make a weekly charity bet that will see any winnings also going to the Trust.
“Coral understands the excitement of Scottish football and the interest around Hearts, who have established themselves as a real threat to the ‘Old Firm’ in recent years,” said Richard Jaques of Coral.co.uk. “We aim to provide their supporters with a range of betting opportunities to complement their passion for football.” |
