Top affiliate manager to occupy new executive position
Poker Room and Poker Stars veteran affiliate manager Edward Ihre has joined the UK online gambling group Ladbrokes as the first incumbent of the newly created managing director's post for the poker interests of the group.
Company statements said that Ihre will be reporting direct to Ladbroke's remote betting and gaming managing director John O’Reilly.
“Ladbrokespoker is a strong brand in the online poker world and also operates some of the best offline events," commented Ihre. "My focus will be on continuing the innovation and growth that Ladbrokespoker.com has demonstrated in recent years and establishing a market-leading affiliate network.”
Ihre's work at Poker Room, where he increased the affiliate contribution of new customers tenfold, from 4 percent to 40 percent is particularly respected in a highly competitive sector of the industry. |
