GamArena to supply next generation skill games
The online site for the Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad is to offer readers a wide range of next generation skill games, including 8-Ball Pool, Backgammon, Solitaire and Golf Hole-in-One following a distribution agreement with GamArena AB.
GamArena MD Andrew Pegler said his company was excited at clinching the contract, which will see the company working with what he described as a premium brand.
The two companies are collaborating to launch a white label site later this (May) month. The site will be fully branded as Nieuwsblad.be, winning the approval of the paper’s parent company Corelio Media Group. In addition to the current arrangement, Corelio’s online business is expected to grow, and GamArena hopes to expand alongside it, providing peer-to-peer content and support services.
“Games will become an important piece of our online offering and p2p skill games provide enormous entertainment to players,” said Patrick Salien, Managing Director of Nieuwsblad.be. “We have been really impressed by the quality of the GamArena proposition to date.” |
