Web 2.0 potential in new management software

The online gambling affiliate program Income Access is blazing a new trail for affiliate toolkit usability with the latest version of its affiliate management software, currently being showcased at the CAP Euro Conference in London.

Drawing from Web 2.0’s clean, aesthetic elements and its emphasis on easy access to information, the company has crafted version 3.0 of their software for ease of use and clarity. “Our main objective with this redesign has been to ensure our software’s appearance and usability reflects the depth and range of its capabilities as a data analysis tool,” says Nicky Senyard, CEO. She added that the new design would deliver at-your-fingertips access to information for affiliates and merchants alike. The visual elements of the software have been brought out with use of colours and icons that assist users to quickly find what they’re looking for to carry out the tasks that matter most, and pop-ups have also been minimised to streamline navigation.

Version 3.0 of the Income Access software also lets users exercise more control over data by experimenting with several new features. The presentation of reports has been fine-tuned to put the most commonly used reports front and centre, and to fit more information on a single page. In addition, affiliates and merchants will notice that their daily tasks are faster and simpler thanks to scrolling within reports and the ability to highlight multiple rows of data for easy viewing of pertinent data.

The U.S. ban on financial transactions with online gambling companies has impacted yet another international company, this time the Australian group Lasseters Corporation.

In its report on the half year Ended 31 December 2007 Lasseters Corporation reported that it is likely to announce a pre-audited loss in the vicinity of $1.9 million at EBITDA level.

The results reflect the impact from the passing of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act on Lasseters' online casino coupled with the costs incurred in the marketing and build up of the new online sportsbook operation, Lasseters Sports.

Lasseters Corporation Limited (formerly GoCorp Limited) is an online casino operator, providing casino gambling services to the international market. The company was formed in 2001 through the merger of publicly listed GoCorp Limited with Lasseters Casino Pty Limited.
