Vegas Star Wireless will add the power of remote gaming to casino operations
Sona Mobile Holdings Corp., the software provider behind the development of Shuffle Master Inc.'s Vegas Star Wireless platform, has been honoured by a Casino Journal announcement this month that the Shuffle Master product is one of the "Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Products of 2006".
The Sona Mobile technology powering the Vegas Star Wireless platform allows users to participate in multi-player table games through interaction with virtual dealers and touchscreen betting terminals - essentially extending the floor space of a casino.
"We are taking wireless gaming to the next level by enhancing the user experience and adding virtual real estate to the casino, which increases its revenue generating capability," said Shawn Kreloff, chairman and chief executive officer of Sona Mobile. "This recognition represents an endorsement of our technology and validates our effort to extend gaming beyond the traditional casino floor."
This endorsement follows the recent news that Sona Mobile and its key executives have received Nevada Gaming Commission's approval, allowing the company to actively market and sell their products to gaming venues in the state of Nevada.
Sona's patent pending technology delivers graphics rich content without compromising performance or security. The innovative Sona Gaming Platform (SGP) provide clients with wired or wireless server based gaming content including slots, table games, video poker, and race and sports wagering-all from a single screen. Certified by Gaming Labs International (GLI) the SGP architecture works across a wide range of mobile devices, kiosks, and computers, enabling clients to have a similar gaming interface in a casino, at the track, at home on their computer or on their mobile device. |
