Online payments firm admits it cannot handle US online gambling business
US online gamblers are becoming increasingly frustrated with the operational antics of European online payments processor Click2Pay following an admission this week that it cannot effectively handle US Internet gambling withdrawals.
Several players reported receiving the following response whilst pursuing overdue withdrawals:
"Due to recent developments and to the existing legal situation in the US, we cannot process any wire transfers to US customers until further notice. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
"Of course your funds remain accessible to you in your CLICK2PAY account. We can assure you that we are currently working on implementing a solution to this problem.
"We suggest transferring your funds to any merchant website and using the withdrawing options there.
"We assure you that we are working daily to improve our services and processes and hope you will remain a trusted and valued user of CLICK2PAY."
Unfortunately, despite the above this processor appears to be still accepting deposits from US players. |
