Mobile gaming firm raises a million
UK mobile gaming and communications company Cometa Wireless Gaming has raised GBP 1 million in its initial round of public investment, the company announced this week.
Founded in 2004 the company is now making a name for itself in the mobile gaming market with the backing of its principal investor Mfusion, a successful mobile gambling company, and several other investors.
Cometa Wireless products are based on Arcadia, new patented technology developed by Cometa's founders. Arcadia facilitates faster communication between a mobile phone and the company’s servers, allowing mobile casino style games to be played securely in real-time, whilst maintaining the look and performance of a regular slot machine.
Rob Anderson, Cometa’s CEO said: "We are delighted to be working with Mfusion. Their commercial experience and knowledge of the gaming and mobile phone industries will be crucial in our next phase of growth." |
